• Description of use Half of an openwork bronze cross. Crosses, as symbols of Christianity, were imported from both Orthodox and Catholic lands. In the territory of Latvia, they were used as pendant jewelry and local artisans began making their own versions, introducing entirely new stylized cross forms. This is a local product.
